Suggested Itineraries for Weekly Tours
These weekly trips could be combined to make a longer trip. Talk to Dela about what interests you. He would be pleased to help make you a custom itinerary that suits your needs. Are you interested in the culture of Ghana and would like to see live performances of music and dancing? Let Dela know. Do you love to visit markets? Ghana has some spectacular ones. Talk to Dela about them! Dela can be there to meet you at the airport and take you back to the airport after the trip if you would like.
Eastern Ghana
Day 1: Arrival Lodging at Crystal Palm hotel
Day 2: We will travel to visit Aburi Botanical Gardens, Krobo Odumase Beads making/shopping and Volta Lake at Akosombo and continue to Ho in Volta Region Overnight will be at Chances hotel Ho.
Day 3: We will travel to Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary/Village and continue to Hohoe Atabu traditional bone healer, Wli Agumatsa waterfall and return to Ho with a stop at Gbi Kledzo special needs school souvenir shop. Overnight will be at Chances hotel.
Day 4: We will travel to Amedzofe to climb Ghana's second highest Gemi Mountain and visit Amedzofe waterfall Overnight will be at Chances Hotel Ho
Day 5: We will visit Kpetoe Agotime Kente weaving center, Vegus batik tie and die shop at Ho and join a live community indigenous Borborbor music and dance at Ho. Overnight will at Ho Chances Hotel
Day 6: We will travel to Manet Paradise Ada, visit the Volta Estuary and return to Accra Overnight will be at Crystal Palm hotel Accra.
Day 7: We will visit Accra museum, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum and cultural center before catching your flight.
Western Ghana
Day 1: Arrival Lodging at Crystal Palm hotel.
Day 2: We will travel to Kakum National Park for canopy walk and visit Cape Coast/Elmina Castles. Overnight will be at Coconut Grove African Village with access to Coconut Grove beach resorts.
Day 3: We will depart for Nkroful, Kwame Nkrumah's village and visit the memorial home of the late Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Overnight at B&Q hotel Nkroful.
Day 4: We will visit Amansuri wetland, Nzulezu stilt village and return to Nkroful Overnight at B&Q hotel.
Day 5: We will travel to enjoy Busua beach resorts with a stop at Princess town/Cape three points Overnight at African rainbow hotel.
Day 6: Return to Accra. Overnight at Crystal Palm hotel.
Day 7: We will visit Accra museum, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum and Cultural center before catching your flight.
Northern Ghana
Day 1: Arrival Lodging at Crystal Palm hotel.
Day 2: Travel to Kumasi and visit Okomfo Anokye hospital to learn about the historic sward, Manshia palace museum and Bonwire kente weaving center. Overnight at Promising Star hotel.
Day3: Travel to Mole National park with a stop at Kintampo waterfall Overnight at Mole hotel.
Day 4:. Stay at Mole National park for a Safari walk. Overnight at Mole National park hotel.
Day 5: Travel to Tamale and visit a native home to learn about traditional birth delivery. Overnight at Radack Memorial hotel
Day 6: Return to Accra. Overnight at Crystal Palm hotel.
Day 7 We will visit Accra museum, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum and Cultural center before catching your flight.
Southern Ghana
Day 1: Arrival, Lodging at Crystal Palm hotel.
Day 2: We will travel to Kakum National Park for canopy walk and visit Cape Coast/Elmina Castles. Overnight will be at Coconut Grove African Village with access to Coconut Grove beach resorts.
Day 3: Travel to Kumasi and visit Lake Bosomtwi, Okomfo Anokye hospital to learn about the historic sword, Manshia palace museum and Bonwire kente weaving center. Overnight at Promising Star hotel.
Day 4: Travel to Ho with a stop at Krobo Odumase to witness local beads making and beads shopping, Volta Lake and Akosombo dam. Overnight will be at Chances hotel Ho.
Day 5: Travel to Wli waterfalls and stop at Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary, Gbi Atabu traditional bone healer and Gbi Kledzo special needs (disabled) children School souvenir shop. Overnight at Chances hotel, Ho.
Day 6: We will travel to Amedzofe to climb Ghana's second highest Gemi Mountain and visit Amedzofe waterfall before returning to Ho where the group will be treated to a community indigenous Borborbor music and dance. Overnight will be at Chances Hotel Ho.
Day 7: We will return to Accra with a stop at Shai hills game reserve, visit Accra museum and Cultural center before catching your flight.
